That's where you're wrong...same can be done with the short passing game. Besides, Houston has a good running formations on here if you'd just give em a look. I'm doing an online dynasty with them now and am crushing everyone with them on Heisman difficulty.

I like to use the short passing game to eat up clock as well. But it seems the Air Raid type offense can only last so long.

BYU's playbook has four I formations, an ace, and a strong I formation and they are great for running the ball. Bryce Beall and Charles Sims are 2 good HBs too.
