What to do when people quit.????

Ok, so earlier I was playing a guy and I was winning in the 2nd quarter. He disconnects and I elect to finish the game against the computer so the game still counts and I don't get a loss. I ran the clock down and won 30-7. When the game was over I did not get credit for the win. I was 2-0 before and 2-0 after. So why did it not count my game? I am new to playing online.

I would love to play some of the guys from this site...I play on PS2...

it should have counted unless it was an unranked game-did he send the invite-maybe it was unranked-by the way welcome to the forum and there are a lot of good guys here that you can set up games with-=check out the vegas league section and sign up for games there

I've played games before from 08 online that I would win, and I would not get credit for a win. I didn't really worry about it though. I don't think you should worry about it either, but always continue the game vs. the cpu when that happens. As long as it doesn't give you a loss it's ok. Welcome to the site. trust me its not always safe to play against the cpu because it will give u a cheat rather than the win...i know it happened to me alot of times...always check and see if you can quit and count game because it will give you the win but just partial points....only if its the end of 3rd qrt or 4th qrt.. just check out what i wrote on the glitchers post.....if its early in the game quit and count game....rememeber never play cpu unless u know he paused the game and really quit...if u dont understand this post..just ask me what u dont know..i'll let you know...
