I have been getting disconnected alot while playing online. It simply says "You have been removed for ejecting game disk" but I am not ejecting the disc. Has anybody else had this happen? It has happened to me 3 games in a row. Do I just need a new console?

try taking the game out of the system and put it back in, make sure when u close it back up it closes all the way.. do u have the skinny ps2?

yeah its a version of the disc glitch that they use on ps2 to keep from losing...word of advice is not to put any type or weight on the top of the skinny ps2 as u will damage the rotating system on the game console...and/or damage the disc all together.....or it mite be time to get a new system because or wear and tear on the hinges that keeps the door closed while using the system

I used to put a phone book on top of my skinny ps2. It never damaged it.

thats cause the phone book doesnt weigh that much....or maybe u just got lucky...i know the door hinges on mine went out after about 6 months of wear and tear...then i said f*** it and got me a ps3...for the low low...
