wow im starting to realize how much crap the ps2 really is...
i can see what the next gen guys are saying now
the gameplay is so unrealistic in many ways
1. fumbles occur way too often and in matchups that are very unlikely ex. a 220 lb. TE fumbles to a 180 lb. DB in the open field
2. when u hit R2 the guy "jumps" to the player and tackles him (usually a fumble)
3. roughing the passer penalties are called even if u hit the QB half a second after the throw
4. R1/L1 jukes and spins (i think the right anaolog stick jukes too) both break the tackle even when they are at the end of the move ex. a guy spins and is already turned all the way around and when the defender goes in for the tackle he breaks it instead of getting lit up
5. press coverage is way too effective and the strength ratings for the players seem to play no role in this
6. RB's and TE's cannot be pressed, why not? hm.
7. u can pass downfield on screens
8. momentum plays too big a role in the outcome of games
9. plays such as hb direct
