When do you think going for 2 should be done after a TD? Would you ever try to convert one in the first half? 3rd quarter?
Would you only do it to turn a 2 possession game into a 1 possession game, or to turn a deficit into a tie?
What about if you are down 5 in the 4th quarter, say with 7+ minutes left.
Do you go for 2, and if you get it you are down only a FG? But risk not getting it and then need a TD and 2 point conversion should the other team get a FG?
Or do you go for 1 to make it a 4 point game, so if they get a FG you can still tie it without going for 2?
